Do you have different prices for different seasons?

Yes we have three different seasons, peak season which includes January, February, October, November and December.

Mid Season includes April, May and September and Low season which includes June, July and August.

Do the prices vary for a wedding for a Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights in these different seasons?

Yes we have different prices for a Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.

What is included in the wedding package?

The wedding package includes 5.5 hour durations, with pre dinner drinks consisting of beer, wine, champagne, soft drink and basic spirits for the first half an hour. Hot and cold savouries will also be included in the pre dinner time. The food package consists of alternating entrée, alternating main course and alternating dessert. Coffee, tea, chocolates and the wedding cake cut will be placed on platters for each table which will be handed around after dessert by the staff. The white chair covers, decorated candelabras for each table, fresh flowers on the bridal table, personalized table menus, exclusive use of the venue and ample of car spaces is all included in this package.

Do you have any winter specials for wedding?

Yes we are currently running a winter special for the months of June, July and August 2009. It is the same package as the wedding package; please visit our winter specials page for prices.

Do you cater for children?

Yes, we do cater for children’s meals. The children meals are from 2year – 12 years old. These meals include pizza or pasta for entrée, chicken and chips for main course and ice cream or gelato for dessert.

Do we recommend suppliers?

Yes we do recommend suppliers, on placing a booking at Contessa receptions we give you are suppliers list, which will help you get started on quotes for each different category such as florists, hair and make up, cars etc.

Do we include chair covers and the chair covers sashes?

Yes we have both, the white chair cover are already included in the wedding package, we have a wide range of coloured sashes to choose from, these can be added to package for an extra $2.50 per chair.

How many rooms do you have at Contessa Receptions?

We have two rooms at Contessa receptions. The Antoinette room which is the main dining area is 16m x 25 x (400 sq.m), we have a band stage which is situated in the main room and is 3m x 4m. The main room also has a large dance floor which is 9m x 6m. The smaller room is the Madison room it is closer to the bar area and is 16m x 9m (150 sq.m). If you book a function at Contessa receptions you have exclusive use of the venue we do not have multiple functions on at the same time.

Do you have a separate bridal room for the bridal party?

Yes we do have a separate bridal room for the bridal party to relax in; it has a toilet, bathroom area, lounge area with LCD TV and shower, with a separate door for the bridal party to enter, if the guests are here before the bride and groom arrive.

How many car spaces do you have?

We have 90 onsite car spaces

How many guests can you accommodate?

For a sit down function including a large dance floor we can accommodate up to 300 guests. With no dance floor 340 guests.

What type of menu is it at Contessa receptions?

Our menu is mainly European style menu. If you are looking at a different style of menu we can also cater for outside catering.

How far are you from the city?

We are 20 minutes from the city
